Shaped to Serve God (2/09/2025)
In this powerful message, we're challenged to reflect on our true purpose in life and how we're using our God-given gifts. The central theme revolves around 1 Peter 4:7-11, reminding us that 'the end of all things is at hand' and we should be using our gifts to serve one another. We're called to show fervent love, hospitality, and to use our abilities as good stewards of God's grace. This message draws a striking parallel between the church and a hospital - both places of healing and restoration. It prompts us to consider: Are we truly loving and serving others in our church community? Are we using our talents and experiences, our 'SHAPE' (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences), for God's glory? This teaching challenges us to move beyond mere church attendance to active, passionate service, reminding us that our commitment to serve is a sign of our spiritual rebirth. As we reflect on this, let's ask ourselves: How can we better use our unique gifts to build God's kingdom and serve our community?
