Prayer Ministry
We believe that prayer is as essential to life as oxygen is to breathing. Christian Bible Church meets
Virtually every Friday for prayer at 7:00 p.m. come and intercede for a love one or bring your own
prayer requests. You will be blessed and leave refreshed. "For mine house shall be called a house
of prayer for all people" Isaiah 56:7.

Outreach and Evangelism
Faithfulness in ministry isn’t just keeping the doors of the church open, hoping people will walk in. It
means finding ways to take the good news to them, whether they are in another neighborhood, of a
different culture or age group. The CBC Outreach Evangelism team shares the good news through
Drive Thru Prayer, walking and sharing door to door and through evangelistic opportunities in
neighborhood parks and through community events. If you have the desire to share Gods word we
challenge you to extend your ministry to those who need it most and join the Outreach team at CBC.

Christian Education
The mission of the Christian Education Ministry of Christian Bible Church is to glorify God through the
gifts, administration and resources for the enhancement of learning for the members of the body of
Christ…i.e. - Its disciples. The purpose is to continuously develop and enhance the disciples for
spiritual growth and maturity in Christ through Discipleship. 2 Timothy 2:15

Samaritan Way Ministries
The purpose of the Samaritan Way ministry is a be an extension of the love of Christ while praying,
caring and sharing with the sick and shut in and the bereaved. The Samaritan Way ministry touches
the lives of others by ensuring that needs of the sick and shut in are met and proper planning and
final arrangements are handled during a time of bereavement. The Samaritan Way Ministry relieves
the pressures and burdens of life while members may be in their most vulnerable state and
experiencing the most challenging times in there lives; they truly give help in a time of need.

Greeters
The Greeters Ministry warmly welcome our guests and church family, to serve as hosts and
hostesses, as well as, offering friendly assistance and encouragement and a loving greeting to all
who enter through our doors.

Ushers
Our Ushers are responsible for making members of the congregation and guests feel welcomed and
comfortable; and more importantly they assist the Pastor in providing a spiritual order to the worship
service. Ushers help set the tone in preparation for the worship service, as well as, assist in
maintaining order throughout the service. "Let all things be done decently and in order" 1 Corinthians
14:40. Ushering is an opportunity to serve God by serving God's people and to actively and faithfully
participate in the Church service.
"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people" Ephesians 6:7 .
Ushering provides a wonderful way for a person to grow and to continue to serve in
a very important role for the Church. Have a love for God’s people and order in the house of the Lord
and become an Usher at CBC.
